Attorney Kevin Humphries, one of the founding partners of Lopez & Humphries, PA, previously served as president of the Lakeland Bar Association for the 2016-2017 term.
The Purpose of the Lakeland Bar Association
The Lakeland Bar Association’s goal is to stand by the professional standards of the legal field, promote public awareness of the judicial system and public service, and always encourage ethical conduct. They accomplish these goals by working with the community and lawyers within the community to provide legal assistance to those in need.
The Lakeland Bar Association is a part of many different events that encourage professional growth and achievement within the community. They have fundraised for Habitat for Humanity and Florida Rural Legal Services and provided many opportunities for members to obtain continuing legal education (CLE) credits. This helps to promote ongoing attorney development once a practitioner has been admitted to the bar.
